Does anyone know how to contact Sharge? I am interested in purchasing one of their track cleaning cars but not sure if they ship to the US. Also if they deduct VAT. Their website does not list an address or contact information.

Also would be interested in others thoughts about them.

Thanks,
David

Hi David. Sorry cannot see any contact details at the moment.

I have had one of these (and the CMX equivalent) and have only sold both as I now have a small layout and don't need them. Both are similar in design and function. Both are a little fiddly to get the drip rate just right but once done work very well indeed. Great if you have longish runs or hard to reach sections of track. The one issue I had (with both) was you do need to make sure any point actuator pins are well below rail height and that track joins are correctly made and the same height. Otherwise the cleaning pad will foul on any projections - even little ones - and you will go through them quickly.

The Sharge is a little cheaper than the CMX. I cannot see if the quoted prices include VAT. They may not be liable.

It’s the email address on the instruction sheet I got with my Sharge.

Thanks. Using that information - and a little delving on inter web - I see that it will take you to the business owner. Well done, my instructions went off to the next happy owner of my Sharge. R-
