This link may help those users that are unfamiliar with BBcode that is needed if you wish to enter special effects in your posts.

As noted a number of times in there, it is up to users to be careful how and what they use as having things large or very very small (it says 'very very small') can be annoying and will probably lead to the post being edited or simply deleted by those with that 'power', site admins and moderators.

I thought the BB code on here referred to downloading pictures from the likes of Flickr. What you are describing is available above the post box.
