I spotted this in Aldi yesterday for only £8.99. I am doing a lot of rewiring under my layout and thought this would be useful. Let me tell you it is fantastic! I wish I had got one years ago. I have put a cushion on it and it can be used as a seat or a mobile kneeling pad.

Very useful, but it will not stop hot solder dripping down, ouch!

Looks good. Can see kids buying them to sit on and go down the nearest tarmacked quiet street as I used to do when making my own carts and other wheeled inventions in the past.

I bought the Lidl one which converts from a padded flat crawler to a stool. In hindsight I should have paid more and got the MachineMart one that also converts to a reclining lounger, better suited to working under my layout height.
The Lidl one could likely be modified to make it a recliner but it may not be worth the effort for the limited amount of under layout work left to do.

Ours were an old metal wheeled strap on roller skate and a Beano or Dandy annual as the seat. The big carts were called bogies and used a plank of wood fore-aft with cross planks mounting old pram wheels, big at the back, small at the front.
