Hi, I'm currently swapping out the Hm7000 stock speaker for a Rail Exclusive big boomer. Are the 2 wires plus and negative as i need to solder on the stock decoder speaker plug.
Thanks Anthony

You can connect the speaker wires any way round. Pos & neg are only significant when using 2 or more speakers

The standard HM7000 speaker is not TTS. HM7000 uses a standard sugar cube speaker while the TTS speakers are usually 28mm round speakers.

Regardless of whether TTS or HM7K the replacement has to be 8 Ω impedence.

Yes it's 8 ohm, I'm interested to see if it will be noticeably better than my other class 31 with the standard hm7000 speaker.

TTS is a relatively low fidelity sound compared to TXS sound using like for like speakers. TTS can be improved with a better speaker as can TXS.
