Not in its original form - the A4 is a three cylinder while the HH was a compound 4 cylinder. I have put a Britannia TTS chip in mine, admittedly that’s a two cylinder but the chuffs never match on TTS chips anyway but the whistle is quit close so it will do for me.
There is a short video clip on the Hornby section of the forum.

You beat me to it Steve - I was just going to suggest he watched your video clips - the one on West Orton is very good - Post 501/Page 51.

It will be interesting to see if Hornby have a bespoke W1 TTS decoder in their 2022 range when it is announced in a week or so. And if they do whether they also produce a second one for the rebuilt versions - they will be different again as they are three cylinders but with modified P2 boilers.
There is/was a P2 decoder in the range so I guess that may be reissued when the new Prince of Wales P2 is launched - possibly in a dual role as both P2 and later W1.

How can they make an accurate bespoke sound decoder for something they can’t record. It will just be what they think it sounded like.

There may well be some contemporary film/sound that they can draw on. Or just do what the rest of us do - match cylinder numbers and whistles and compare with similar locos where recordings do exist.
For example, my go to decoder for Northern, two cylinder every day locos is the J36 TTS - sticking that in a similar type of loco, and using different sizes of speakers to hive more or less bass, is going to be closer than putting sounds from a GWR Hall in it and it will fool anyone that is ever likely to visit my shed.

I reckon the most important sound is the whistle or chime.

Couldn't agree more.

I do remember reading that the Hush Hush had a very quiet chuff compared to other locos. So I doubt you will get a recording of it. Unless somebody comes up with a computer generated sound from the design specification. But does it matter.
