I thought so too. So much lineside detail for modellers to use on their layouts.

It appears a double track at one point and the early emblem will date the photo, those post war houses look pretty big assuming they are semi's.
The buildings in the garden look too short for garages so they must have been sheds / out houses and plus the washing on the lines as well gives great detail.
We lived on the up side about a mile from Macclesfield station on the other WCML via Stoke and even though our house was elevated from the railway my mum used to continually run out to grab the washing from the line when the loco's passed and because the up line from Macclesfield station was on a gradient we had the added delight of a banker, my mother didn't see the excitement of that though. Our garden extended down to the railway bank.
Next time I get down to Macclesfield I will get some photo's as they may be beneficial to someone, my mother still lives in our family home. Sadly my father passed in 2018 on the 16th of Nov a day after my wedding anniversary but he worked for BR for 40+ years and I expect the house purchase and the railway at the bottom of the garden had some influence as he was a Bangor lad and his dad Snowy (grandad) working at Bangor since the LMS.
