At last I have got the Loco Depot track down and wiring done. Have ordered all the section switches they are comming next week. After seeing the fantastic work done by others on here I just thought I would show you my awfull efforts. But it all works and tested out OK. Of course it is old fashioned DC ......When the layout is done it will be sectioned off using toggle switches.
Sorry about the untidy work but it works. I hope. :D
The Coaling tower is not finnished yet, placed there to show where everything is going. The base board of this section is the side of an old pine cupboard.

Looks good to me. The underside of mine looks like an explosion in a knitting factory and I was taught how to wire neatly.

Thanks for the kind words chaps.. This is the first section in the making. Next stage is to start laying track on the main base boards starting with the main line next to the Turn Table. It will all come clear soon.

Looks fine Sandy - are you/have you motorised the turntable? I, as will others, can highly recommend the Locomotech motors for the Peco turntable - turns at 2rpm and is very quiet.

Thankyou for the information. I was hoping to motorise the TT. But want to get on with laying tracks on the main line which goes around the room.
This loco depot is a removeable section so I can get to the windows to clean them and access the end BB.
Next stage is the main line from the TT to the main and branch line station. Will end up with folded 8 main line for a better run..
