Should I by Unifrog points?

I have a mixture of Hornby and Peco points on my layout and generally there does not seem much to choose between them. However, I have one set of Hornby points (green in diagram) that I regularly get derailments and/or stalls on, I cannot work out why. I was going to replace it with a spare set of Peco points, but they are a bit weather beaten so I was planning to buy a new set. While deciding whether to go for electro or Insulfrog I discovered this 'new' thing call Unifrog!

From what I have read it seems like a no brainer and that is what I should buy. Are there any hidden snags I should be aware of? It will be on a DCC layout. Am I correct in thinking it will 'just work' out of the box?

Peco Unifrog are the best of both worlds. Insulated frog or Electrofrog in the one point. They work straight from the box as Insulated frog and with very minimum alterations convert to Electrofrog, but then usually some form of frog polarity switching would be used. In your case I would install as Insulated frog but ensure the frog wire is passed to below baseboard for later conversion. They do not require Insulated Rail Joiners to be fitted to the Vee rail ends as these are factory fitted after the frog.
However, they are only currently available in a very limited range!
NOTE: They are not a direct drop in replacement for standard Hornby or Peco Setrack points. They are much longer and to a larger turnout radius too.

Thanks Brian, I have been doing a bit of searching and they are limited at the moment. The latter point is less of an issue as a larger radius may be a benefit. However, I am now tempted to go for the standard electrofrog with possibly a frog juicer.
