first of all thanks to all who have replied to my previous queries, very helpful. which in your opinions would be the best cleaning car/wagon to buy.

Undoubted winner is the CMX Clean Machine brass tank one but it needs a loco will very good pulling power to shift it - I use a Heljan Bo-Bo

Similar to the CMX is the Sharge version. Was a lot cheaper.
