Having my o gauge loco and wagons arrive means its perfect to start laying track and getting the thing going for a bit
Problem is i can’t manage to make a even or somewhat even curve of around 42” radius
Any tips or hacks on how to curve peck sl-700 track ????
Any help would be appreciated

Re: O gauge flexy track
Have you drawn the curve on the baseboard. Lay the track along the line fixing it in place as you go. Or cut a piece of thick cardboard or hardboard to the correct rad and form the track along that. I used set track 2nd rad curves where I could as I don’t run anything larger than an 0-6-0. 2nd rad is 40.5 inches.
As I said just draw the curve and follow it temporarily tacking the track down as you go.

Don’t have the baseboard yet
Having it made at the moment
But trying to lay the track to see what I’m missing if that makes sense as I definitely don’t have all the track yet

Currently attempting to lay it on foam as I have the equivalent amount of flat foam as the baseboards will be

As long as the surface is firm and flat and you can hold the track in place .

Try a temporary fix with drawing pins ensuring that you don’t damage the sleepers. This allows minor adjustments and easy changes of mind. I use this method for OO and assume it will work for O.
