Defaulting

Post by Bandit Mick »

I have a DCC Gaugemaster prodigy express and when I plug it in it always defaults to the address of the loco I first used it with when I first bought it rather than showing the address of the loco I last used. Is this normal? Can anyone please help.

You could try deleting the loco from the list by selecting it then holding down the del key. You can then see if the loco appears first. If it doesn't then there should be no reason to stop you selecting the loco by entering it's address. I've not tried this, but have successfully deleted locos this way when I've mistyped a loco number.

On the Prodigy Advanced², before turning off, if you unplug the handset whilst it is displaying the loco number you want to save and plug it back in, that becomes the default loco when turning on. Not sure about the Express but give it a go.
