A bit more progress with Ty Mawr

Thought I’d post a few more pics to keep the interest up during these difficult times. First pic is a small engineering workshop - scratchbuilt including fence. Second up is my derelict barn -some detailing still to do on this also. Last is my turntable fiddleyard. Wiring was easy but getting heights right was a right swine - almost wish I hadn’t bothered, and it still needs some fine tuning.

It's looking good. I'm curious to know if you painted the backscene. It captures very well that rather nippy wet British landscape and weather that we all know and maybe love. You've created the atmosphere wonderfully.

Thanks for the kind comments. The back scene is hand painted by me using cheap artists acrylics, match pots, white household emulsion and kitchen towel. I tried to get an early autumn look so have used muted soft sort of faded out colours.

The beauty of 'lockdown' Being unable to get to a model shop, so 'pinching' stuff from around the house. :lol:

I wish that I could paint back scenes like that! :) They are really really lovely :) .
