A few firsts

I thought i would share with you all a few firsts for me.
My first is an`O` Gauge wagon build. it`s a Parkside Dundas kit.
My second first is, it was my first try out with my new Harder & Steenbeck Evolution silverline plus.
My third first is, i have finally got around to trying out Micro Sol and Micro Set decal fixing solution.

How did you find the airbrush?
I nearly bought one (before I got my Iwata) but couldn’t see any reviews when I looked.

I think it`s better than the Iwatta i have, silky smooth and a doodle to clean.. no spanners needed. The crown is perforated so no blow back onto the job.it vents out the sides if you get to close to the job. My gun came with a two needles a 0.2mm and 0.4mm, the seals inside the gun are made from PTFE and are solvent proof, so it`s great if you wish to use enamel paints. I have spent so much money on cheap guns, i wish i had bought this sooner. The Iwaatta i have is to large for for models but is great for larger areas and at £250 it waste a waste of money, it looks a little like a car spray gun. Everything Airbrush have H & S airbrushes in stock., they are in Poole in Dorset. Buy one.. you won`t regret it.

I did seriously consider one and its on my list if and when I get another.
Happy with my Iwata at the moment although I do also have a couple of very cheap ones from eBay - they are fantastic for general work such as track weathering or similar.

I wrecked my cheapies by spraying enamels through them, thinking they would take it

"Yes" i am drafting out some plans to scratchbuild my first goods shed in 7mm. I have built may loco sheds but not a goods shed, this is the subject of my plans.

If your using brick plasticard for the build, either re-enforce the card or as i do build a framework first, otherwise the building will not last many years.

I am planning on using Balsa wood for the joists and crane. My mate and i were lucky enough to be given access to the inside of Bewdley goods shed last Wednesday, for research purposes.
