Class 08 Con rods

#1

Post by Forfarian »

Hi does anyone have a set of Class 08 connecting rods, or a Class 08 for spares?
Hornby type R2417, R2933, R2589 or R3048 the Part # is X9369

I have tried PetersSpares he has no stock and on back order 12 months was mentioned!
Would anyone know if the Bachmann rods would fit, are they the same centers?

are you showing the replacement on the workbench or anywhere else, i would be interested in seeing it done. If it is no bother, well not too much bother :)

One of the easiest jobs to do. Takes a few minutes. Unscrew what is holding the rods in place, replace with new rods, replace screws.

The one i bought for spares is "new" so i will change the decoder and wait for peter's spares to get a set of spare connecting rods in.
