80's or 90's town centre backscene OO?

#1

Post by davidrivett »

Hi all,

My layout is based on early to mid 90's and need a backscene to suit for my station area, ideally with a town or city scene such as taller buildings not houses?

Does anyone have any ideas please?

Thanks in advance

I love Brian Sheriff Backscenes. They are now sold under a different name though. They are so atmpspheric, but they will need cutting out. You buy the skypaper seperately to put behind the backscenes if that makes sense? You may need to add the odd satalite dish though to complete the scene.

Have looked around the website and it is the most difficult to use site I have ever come across. If I were you I would just google around looking for Townscene. There is a huge amount of back scenes available. But it can take a while looking for them all. All the fun of the hobby.

There's plenty of choice out there, just Google OO gauge backscenes. Here's a few examples :

Track-Shack.com

Model railways Direct
