Looks great Colin - a bit modern for me but a nice looking bit of scenery all the same. R-

I reckon that looks very good. Can’t be that modern Roger if it’s Dublo. Then again I suppose it depends what you mean by modern.

I think it looks very good - I'm sure you will find a space to incorporate it. I recall most of the Hornby Dublo buildings back in the 50's were cream with an orange roof. I had to go to London yesterday, so a trip to Waterloo - it's amazing how many of the "southern" concrete lineside huts are still in situ - usually overgrown and windows broken.

Were concrete buildings like that mostly on the Southern Region?

I don't know whether concrete buildings were exclusive to the Southern - certainly they were the main users.
The Southern had their own 'concrete plant' at Exmouth Jct where they made all sorts of goodies, and prefabricated parts, for buildings, platforms etc.. Southampton Central was rebuilt just before WWII with a lot of concrete parts and traces of the 'art deco' style are still visible outside the entrance on the 'down' side. This is in spite of almost total flattening during the conflict, and 2 rebuildings by BR!....

Colin who originated the post left the forum and asked for his posts to be removed I believe, which is why we are no longer able to see the pictures.
