Are you trying to be funny? ;)
No, so fine that the surface tension of the resin pulled them together. Plus I'm using an ABS like resin to make the less brittle.
I blame the GWR. If they had put an extra horizontal bar across the middle..........

I have some with different thicknesses in the printer to find the best compromise between strength and aesthetics.

I was going to say that it looks very much prototypical for some to be bent out of shape in the manner they appear to be...

I was going to call it execptional modelling... but it seems its more 'happy accident'!

Can't wait to get my Photon Mono 4 up and running... I've tested it, but i need to do some serious calibration for the resin I have... it welds itself to the buildplate, and then breaks into bits when you attempt to remove it!

I think the bent bars look more realistic.

GWR didn’t need extra horizontal bars.

I had an overnight print failure, probably caused by me knocking the printer when I checked it halfway through. So I fitted a small window to the heated cabinet so I can see the display without touching anything.
I ran a subsequent print of a more robust design which seems to be OK. I will need to check with a magnifying glass but there should be a keyhole in the lock on the gate.

Many will know that 3D prints can be very brittle and fragile. With this in mind, I was worried that my attempts at fencing wouldn't be up to the job.
I have used a different resin, described as ABS-like, for a supposedly less brittle print.
This photo shows that description may be correct.

That looks just the job Steve. Did the keyhole put in an appearance? R-
Young at heart. Slightly older in other parts.

Being flexible should make it a lot easier to handle.

It seems not. But at least I know it's there. :D
