I see what you mean Brian. I did not know they had stopped it for maintenance I guess. My comment about the old flat bottomed river ferry crossing the channel was because of the fact that old flat bottomed boats were not designed to go to sea. You say about a flat bottomed ferry boat crossing the Channel, what about all the landing craft that did the same a few years later? My dad sailed a landing craft from Norfolk Virginia to Scotland via the Azores. Not on his own needless to say![]()

Great little loco. Despite all you read about the original airfix model, the Dapol ram well. The DH 14XX model is the best runner of all my loco fleet. Sound is not as good though

Reminds me Brian when (this is true) Sandy My wife 10yrs ago went out to buy a washing machine and came home with BMW. ... You seem to like A4s Brian. Hope you don't have to repair these ones................John
