Now the deliveries have been made, the nitpicking has begun.
30+ year old diesel described as 'it runs but needs a service' has prompted a grumble because it's not comparable to a new loco. But the best so far is a coach bought for £1.13, where one of the removable axles dropped out in transit. New owner didn't know that coach axles float and just need to be clipped back in.
When that was pointed out the reply was 'oh yeah.'
