In April 1970 I was asked by my Dad if I wanted to go down to Dairycoates in Hull as he had seen that HS4000 Kestrel was on the shed. It was being used for Stratford/Hull freightliners and I believe wasn’t there for very long. Like a fool I said no, something I still can’t believe I said.



So desperate not to make the same mistake twice, this purchase could not be overlooked. And, it just had to be weathered.
