Some days when out doing other things one comes across a surprise.
When visiting the Greek Isles a surprise to see. Yes it is a Costa cruise ship, but which one?
It is the same class as Costa Pacifica, but cannot confirm. More research to be done.
This one is much easier to identify.
'Costa Pacifica' in Civitavecchia

Sometimes whilst at sea a sighting of other cruise ships.
We were on 'Marella Dream' bound for Lisbon. Heading home to Southampton is P&Os ship 'Arcadia'
On board 'MSC Virtuosa' passing is 'Britannia heading to Southampton.
This time we were on 'Queen Mary'. She was on her World Voyage and near Gibraltar Royal Caribbean ship 'Independence of the Sea' passed us.

The One That Got Me Interested In Ships
S.S. Uganda of British India Steam Navigation Company.
Leaving Sunderland bound for Oslo
Model of SS Uganda
P&O took over control of British India S.N. Co changed the decor of the ship. The Smoking Room was originally furnished in a tasteful brown leather and seating not cramped together. I shake my head seeing the garish blue.

Thank you Puddles. We have been on ships of the Crystal Cruises Organisation. Rather elegant in style.
