I realise that most of you who read this thread are not necessarily full-blown Chinese railfans - but do you like exhibitions and pubs?

Yes, I thought that last bit would get your attention! ;)

One of my biggest problems is that I don't drive and my main driver lives 90 minutes away - in fact all of my team live all over the country, Croydon, Coventry, Northampton, SE London etc.

So, I am looking to expand my team with someone who can drive and lives reasonably close to Watford.

And the pub bit? Well, the best part of an exhibition weekend is the night out in the pub on Friday and Saturday and we have a team member who gets discounts at Wetherspoons and so it's a cheap night out as well!

Seriously though, is there anyone out there who lives somewhere near Watford and would like to consider joining our exhibition team? Please send me a PM.

Thanks for reading this.

Paul

I am pleased to announce that BEIJIAO has been invited to go to SCOT-RAIL in Glasgow next February 25/26/27.

Whilst I do have a basic operating team coming from England, there is a vacancy for a guest operator who lives close to Glasgow - sorry our hotel allowance has been used up so we need someone who can commute. Travel expenses will be paid,

Could this be you?

Please send me a PM

If you don't mind flying me in from El Paso, Texas, I'll come. A most interesting creation. :)

Time for an update.

We've now done two shows in 2022 with the Bristol show in late April the next outing.

Here is a video taken at the Aly Paly show. It's quite long but shows most of the layouts unique features.

Plenty of interesting detail there, I particularly liked the photographer popping out of his car to take a snap.

Yes, that's me 3D printed by Modelu. The two guys by the level crossing are my travelling companions Martin and Gordon.

There are several working features like that on the layout, but they are a bit subtle and most people miss them.

Not my sort of thing really but some splendid modelling, locos and rolling stock.
I am most impressed.
Good luck with shows that attend.

Kind regards Peter M

I can't believe that it's 9 months since my last post!

We've been to four exhibitions since then and I am pleased to say that I have gained 4/5 new operators spread all over the country so that I can choose the most economic team to suit whichever exhibition we're going to.

More updates later today!
