Thanks, so do I.
They are also referring me on to another clinic for a more detailed review of my eyes. They are also talking about the possibility of proper surgery with sharp pointy things rather than just the laser treatment. That's going to be fun next year.

 .I was able to paint the barriers before my appointment so they are now hard at work in the paddock.

We also went down to Ramsgate for our now traditional pre-Christmas fish and chips watching the festive lights in the harbour.

And of course it would have been rude not to call in to Hornby round the corner in Margate where I liberated these two locos.

Nice looking locos and very realistic farrier scene.

Completely agree, looks so natural.

Hope all goes well with your issues.

A rare visit from another region.
Not a new loco this time. I bought this GWR 34xx City of Bath some years ago but it hardly ever saw the light of day. I had a spare 21 pin HM7K decoder (OK, I bought the wrong one by mistake last week!) and this loco was the only one on the sound 'to do' list that needed the 21 pin.
It is now chuffing round nicely with a stay alive and the 'Saint' sound profile. And it did not even need to have it's wheels cleaned.
Must change the wheels and couplings on those old clerestories.

Nice looking loco and train.
Good to find a use for older locos.

I agree, great scenes and super loco's. You are certainly going through it with your eyes at the moment - hopefully vast improvements in 2026.

While at the Bluebell Railway yesterday I decided to help the shop with their stocktaking for the new year - one less to count.
A bit of a departure from the norm for me but this class 14 caught my eye and is now running on HM7K with the DP1 profile and a stay alive and speaker in the cab.
