Quality video - I watched it earlier on YT. You obviously picked good locations for filming - there were a lot of people on the platform.

A grey day on the moors. Very quickly edited on my phone while waiting for the weather to improve.

Thanks Barry.
It was a quiet day (and the worst, weatherwise, last week) on the railway but it was a joy with so few people around compared with the gala weekend.
The memsahib was hobbling around with a broken toe so we weren't able to visit some of our usual haunts but still had a good week - it's my ninth visit in the last seven years.
Usually the NYMR has announced next year's gala by now, which helps with our holiday booking, but not this year - makes me wonder why. We've booked ten days next year anyway which covers the potential dates.

My latest NYMR video from the Autumn Steam Gala. Since my last effort I have acquired a new computer and today discovered that the old Windows 'Movie Maker' has been retired. Struggling to find a different editor that's free (no point paying for only a couple of videos each year) and that will handle some of the larger files that modern phones produce.
This one is called Lightworks, basic but a bit slow on large files, so I'll have to make shorter YouTube clips to keep them manageable.
Apologies for my dog making an audible contribution with his whining.

Yes Roger, the weather was good - apart from the first evening.....fish and chips from the 'Magpie', from the paper in the Whitby bandstand (traditional start to the hols)......with the rain coming in one side and straight out of the other!!!
Some of the clips are a bit wonky - it was the day that my eye went squiffy and put me in A&E.🤕
Already booked again for next year.

It can be found with a search for "Microsoft Windows Live Essentials 2012".
