I had another batch of cheap Chinese trees arrive today. I'm happy with the first trees but not sure about the two big deciduous trees. They were a curious shade of yellow/green so I added some darker scatter but I'm still undecided. They are a bit 'coarse' and very big to my eyes.

I think the trees look OK and remember that an 80ft tree, very common, is 12 inches tall in OO.

I think that's it, they look 'ok' but not 'wow'. But there again they were only £5 each.

Is the issue that they are isolated/stand alone, as opposed to having other, say smaller trees close by, to soften the impact.
