Apart from a bit of tinkering aroind the edges, I think the changes to the engine shed are done.
I've repaired and moved the lights to a less vulnerable position, and added a fence and a few figures. The shed sidings tha run onto the hill have some basic buffer stops inside the hill that I knocked up on the 3D printer - not elegant but they are out of sight. Also managed to finish off the control panel.

A Railroad class 47 in BR green, sound fitted, picked up at the Hornby factory sale yesterday along with some very inexpensive pine trees from Alex press.

Nice loco - and the trees look very good. You are obviously back from Yorkshire? I watched your YouTube video.

Yes, back home. If my eye had stopped me from driving we could have had the farm where we stay for an extra month - it was very tempting!!!
Loco is not bad considering I don't really do diesels and as I said, it's TXS fitted although I had to reload the running profile to make it work. Plenty of room for a stay alive and the crew is currently being printed.

D1683 has gained a crew and some buffer beam detail at the cab end.
The traction tyres had crumbled to dust but when I replaced them, it wouldn't stay on the track, so off they came again. I may add some weight inside the body to compensate.

Very nice - not quite as good as a “Western” but I do think two tone green is the best livery for the class 47.
