TTS Tender Buzz
Re: TTS Tender Buzz
So I have tried on a separate piece of track with a guagemaster analogue controller, no response from either loco, not even getting the buzz now

Re: TTS Tender Buzz
Did they work on an analogue controller before. DCC locos will only work on analogue if DC running has been enabled.
I believe, not absolutely sure, that DC running is not enabled on TTS decoders.

Think the new one will have to go back, amazon returns and the old one wait till I can get it repaired.
So disappointing that neither of my TTS loco's work.
Is this a common feature?

Re: TTS Tender Buzz
*Update*
I have got both locos to work, with sound on a single piece of track under DCC control.
So there must be something wrong with my layout wiring that is preventing them working on it with either DCC or analogue control.
Curiously enough the non DCC fitted locos do work happily enough on the layout.

Re: TTS Tender Buzz
Not sure if you were asked this before but is the track spotlessly clean?
Another daft question. Are the power feeds connected properly to the layout.

Re: TTS Tender Buzz
Are your power feeds (if not direct soldered connections) DC versions or have you modded them to DCC by snipping the capacitors out, as they corrupt the DCC signal.
