Been thinking about this again. Without changing the layout or increasing my base board size I can reduce my incline by half. I only have the two inclines in the layout and they are in the same direction - fore and aft. My baseboard is currently level. I can angle the base board by half the lift ... this would have it raised at the front by approx one inch.
