there is a cost to update, was £15, but they post back free. Worth asking the current price. I had mine done. Very quick return.

can i still operate my electric points on dc while running my locos on dcc or do change these over as well regards on this bob

Simple answer is yes, many do it that way. Arguably there is no need to consider DCC control for points unless you are going to full computer control, much better to flick a switch.

With a DCC handset system using it control the points does overcome the need for a control panel/switch bank
