In case you are not aware you can allocate the same accessory address to more than one accessory decoder so for example you only have to make one command to throw a double slip and adjacent point()s rather than having to make 3 or 4 separate commands.

with the AD S8 DCC concepts claim that each channel has a large enough power that it will throw two point motors which is handy for cross overs etc

You are right Chris & thanks for the reminder as a part of my layout may have to go to some local surface points & frog juicers & should get away with using one ADS8 unit.
