I managed to solder to the small prongs but it was a bit fiddly.

Ahh ok,

The reason I asked is that I'm getting some on-off-on DPDT switches myself soon. I can solder one up for you, with some 16/.02 or 7/.02 wire and post it, in exchange for a switch of the same type.

Mine are sausage finger size with Lucar type Spade terminal connectors. I got them from Maplins years ago but you can probably find them in Halfords. Just look for 6 terminals and a centre OFF. This is important as it provides a positive gap between DC and DCC selections.

You can also get them spring loaded which I used to use for ‘blipping’ a TT motor in either direction.

@Yelrow

These are the switches I ordered... do they match yours?

If they are, as soon as mine come in, i'll get one soldered for you.

That means all three controllers will be connected together and feed the track down the same pair of wires, is that what you want?

No Brian, that is the problem, working out how to wire three DC circuits which will work independently. The DCC controller from the other side of the DPDT is straight forward. There will be a answer.

First I've read of three DC controllers?
The question was a DC and DCC switch to combine them, you can't do the switching with three DC controllers!
