unable to login using android

just won't login and then tells me I have exceeded my attempts to login

No idea? My Android phone and tablet both allowed me access!
Have you miss spelt your user name or password used to register?

no I have input the correct info, even changed my pass on via the pc and attempted again but still unsuccessful

I'm not sure?? I've been into the Admin control panel and checked your account and all looks good!
The password has to be between 6 characters and 100 characters. If you ever get the Exceed attempts message the password or log in is incorrect.
I have set up a second account for myself here under another user name mainly to test logging in etc and both my Android phone and tablet allow me in!
If you still have issues I can either issue you with a temporary password or completely delete your account and you can then rejoin, but hopefully neither will be necessary.

As a test I've logged in via my Android phone, it has worked. I'd had my phone set to remember the login and it did, auto-filling the details from the old site.

I would suggest clearing history on you phone or using a different browser.

on the pc I have just changed my pass again and logged out, logged back in on the pc using new pass, all good
pass is 11 characters long

now, attempt android login

nope just refuses to login

So no access on my phone, I will revisit this issue later when I have tried to login via my tablet.

One more thought comes to mind, it could be security restrictions of the phone as this site is coming over via http: and not https: where the s stands for secure. Check what permissions to view sites you have on your phone as it may automatically restrict non-secure sites or ones that show an invalid certificate if it is viewed via https:
