TALBENNY (formerly Low Ghyll)
Re: TALBENNY (formerly Low Ghyll)
Are fourths ok
But agree, this is already looking good and I look forward to seeing it progress.
Re: TALBENNY (formerly Low Ghyll)
Thanks chaps.
I also completed the modifications and painting of the water tower.
Next on the list is deciding which structures from the old layout can be repainted and which need replacing or remodelling.

Never thought I’d see the day Steve. Great work.
Nurse, the screens!
Re: TALBENNY (formerly Low Ghyll)
Thanks.
It's only a bit of repainting - the models were built years ago. Admittedly I had to partially dismantle them before masking and spraying but the hard work has already been done. I've just painted the 3D printed station benches so they may appear soon. The left hand side of the layout can probably go back into the shed as there are no changes needed there. The engine shed board may get some changes but not decided what yet, but I can see that the layout definitely needs trees.

Re: TALBENNY (formerly Low Ghyll)
Some more progress today.
Reinstalled another board and added its signal box before dropping some seated passengers onto the new GWR benches.
I also rejigged the wiring so that this layout can be powered from my Hormby Elite allowing my older locos to run from the HM7000 app via the dongle.
And if that wasn't enough I also got myself a new job starting in ten days.
