There will be walls around the exposed edges, partly as it will form a backdrop on some sections, The longest section facing the front I plan to have a "wall" of clear perspex. Yes I do intend to add a triangle in that corner![]()
Yes there will be ballast eventually, First there needs to be some operational testing to ensure I am happy, but an early run of an analogue 0-6-0 looked promising with regards to electrical and physical running.
I will want to test with some long coach trains and larger locos to ensure no clearance issues also. I don't anticipate any as I self imposed a limit of minimum of 21" Radius and any under 36" have Hornby style set track clearances between the rails, so as long as I have my blending to Peco track spacing correct, we should be golden !
