Thank you all for thoughts and prayers. I had 19 days, much of it in the Critical Care unit, thinking about British model trains. What started
as a simple cold (COVID negative) turned into a raging pneumonia threatening to take me off to the Great British Model Railway in the Sky.

The time spent scrolling back through many missed MRF posts provided tremendous distraction and pleasant relief. Please everyone, keep
up the fabulous work.

Ditto on that, MG. The doctors were a bit doubtful which way it would go, but I had too much pain, and that made me realize I wasn't about
to go to the great model railway in the sky.

I've been dreadfully busy navigating a new job and regaining my strength (I can walk a couple of hundred metres now without running out of
breath, so my recovery is well in hand. Previously, 3 metres a few weeks ago, and I was ready to lie down, 3 weeks ago.

In the meantime, an American friend sent me this video (he lives in Nebraska, which resembles Antartica about this time of year).
