Its "Only" taken me 18 months to get to this stage :lol:
But the lower level track has finally met up, just about 2.5 m of wiring to complete, and all the point motors !

It looks good TT. I'm looking forward to seeing it progressing further. Are you planning to put any 'walls' onto the layout where the track gets close to the edge of the baseboard? It would be a shame to have a train go over the side if it derails. I was also thinking that you could perhaps add a triangle of board on the right to give more room for safely containing derailments and scenic features. Just a thought.

Yipes, that craftsman level benchwork is amazing. The trackwork immaculate. To my curiosity, not to advise, are you planning on roadbed? And of course, ballast will cement the entire works into memorium, so I assume you have great confidence in what is laid out? It does look superb.
