Accurascale Mk1 suburban Coaches

#1

Post by dtb »

Hi all

As title, i purchased 3 direct from Accurascale and 1 from an omline retailer, however when attempting to light the coaches nothing happens!
Passing the wand over the coaches fails to turn on the lights and all 4 coaches are affected in the same way which is very disappointing.

i have informed the online retailer about the issue and also have sent Accuracsale a email regarding the problem, I have also uploaded 3 videos to youtube to show the problem and I am currently waiting for a response from Accurascale.

It's a poor show as the Mk2 coaches i purchased from them in 2024 are spot on, (youtube video comparion is available online) yet this new batch of Mk1 Subs 12 months on are of poor quality.

I figured the issue (after messing about which is actually unnecessary for a new item) and there is a poor connection from track to lighting (YT video shows this) having to rock and wiggle the coach for it to get a connection.
The poor connection can be seen by the flickering lights

Accurascale do have a warranty BUT they state parts are available to fix the issues, hey I take my coach apart and then the warranty becomes invalid, not likely!!!!

All proof is on YT but I am interested to know if anyone one else purchased these coaches and experiend the same problems I am having?

I can understand the frustration, especially if one has paid a lot for them. Is the first negative feedback I have heard about the manufacturers products so it came as a surprize, but even the very best manufacturer can have issues. Hope the issues can be easily resolved so you can be a happy customer.

fine!

spending pension money on stuff that don't work is incredibly annoying, Wasting time to establish issues should really NOT productive becasue of manufacturers failings. i came here to ask if anyone else had the same issue and used a word which is not protocol with this forum.

please close my account as you wish, goodbye to all.

Sorry DTB, but the forum has very clear rules regarding bad language.
No issue with you bringing a concern to the attention of other members (in the right way), but your 'disappointment' should have been directed to Accurascale via their contact details.
