If I haven’t used the site for an hour or so it asks me if I'm a robot, or is it a human. I don’t touch anything, wait about 10 seconds and carry on as usual. Works a treat. I haven’t been logged out for weeks unless I do it myself.

Hi Glencairn,

Apologies for you having issues with posting images... as others have shown, it does appear to be working normally, and has not been affected by the cloudflare popup.

That said, I've disabled the popup for now, as it's really only an emergency measure. Cloudflare is still assisting with the protection of the site, and the information seems to show we've made progress in preventing the total lockout some people were getting.

I will continue to monitor, and will be happy to take any reports of issues!

Thanks to everyone for your patience and understanding on this one!

Regards,

I see the bots are back. I think for the few seconds Cloudfare checks members authentication it is worth it. The forum for me has been working well since you rescheduled the backups and dealt with the bots. I have not tried to post an image but if others have I cannot see it being a problem but will give it a go when I have time.

If Cloudfare solves the problem keep it going.

Yep, I've re-enabled some of the better known and reputable crawlers to ensure we still appear in search engines. These ones are very unlikely to be causing the issues we've had.

At time of checking, we've got 115 guests on the forum. While higher than when I've previously checked, it's still far better than before the weekend.

I'll keep monitoring and see what happens.

Regards.

Hi Stese

In reference to your request to be informed if anybody received or saw a popup asking us to verify if we were human, for the last 2 - 3 days I had that popup on both of the devices I use to access the forum and luckily have had no further popup's since yesterday.

Thanks for the update. I'm hoping that no one has the popup from now on, but I'll only know when someone tells me! :)
