In addition to the dummy signal wires, I have now installed wire and wire hangers along the embankment walls. I have a few left so I may add them to the front wall of one of the platforms but I’m undecided on that.
I’ve also been looking at adding a few discarded railchairs to the trackside but they are a pain to get hold of. The usual suppliers of DIY track only sell in bulk (understandably) at a fearsome price and no one seems to do a 3D print version. Will have to grub around the stalls at Ally Pally next month.
Out of stock, Brian. And they are the wrong bolt pattern (anorak moment).
I did try slicing sleepers on both Peco and Hornby track - they have a hole under the chair which prevents them coming off in one piece.
I think it’s strange that the 3D guys haven’t covered these yet as they are always seen in odd places around the railway.
I’ll track some down eventually, although for a few moments I thought about buying a 3D printer to do my own. I soon came to my senses and realised my limited technical expertise with anything involving computers.
