Passing Loop

#1

Post by keef »

Hi everyone.Keen to get the new format going so...Heres one to kick it off...can anyone recommend an Automatic system for a passing loop.It will be added to a basic DC powered oval track positioned under scenery at the rear of my layout out of reach and sight.I am a novice when it comes to electrics but willing to try .Have not even installed electric points yet.Is there such a thing ? Look forward to some uncomplicated advice please.

What actions do you want to automate?

Oh sorry .I would like to run two trains.-
As the circuit is a run of only 9 mtrs to run them at same time is a bit tight,,Ive tried that but found it hard to equalise the speeds,so I was thinking one train does a circuit, stops at a passing loop then the other train would do a circuit in turn.
