Just having a look at TT
Re: Just having a look at TT
Good link Teed, plenty of TT buildings etc. Nothing to stop Rog, now. no excuses tolerated. Joking apart, i find the size fits in well with most table top designs. I have run it for 30 years, but only switched to Peco track, in last 15 years. Before then, used the Brown plastic Triang track.

That’s great MG - good find. R-Mountain Goat wrote: ↑Tue Aug 09, 2022 11:16 pm
Elaines Trains is selling things like that. Thought I would let you know.

Track has arrived really to see how it might fit on my 24” wide baseboard. Currently I have sufficiently bent the flexi track to a 9” radius without cutting any webbing. That is tighter [a little] than I need whilst allowing for a wider radius outside it. No engine at present [still looking for RTR] but pleased that the goods wagons I showed earlier run well without hitting the rail chairs. That’s the first concern out the way. R-

I'm having a look too. But I'm only really interested in UK steam and seems a bit limited right now. But I assume if companies like Peco and Hornby are getting involved again there is probably a future for 3mm so watching and waiting for a while
Re: Just having a look at TT
Hornby’s TT video certainly piqued my interest, but I’m in way too deep with OO gauge, especially after expanding my fleet and a planned redesign of the goods sidings on my own layout to offer more freight operational flexibility.
Perhaps if my nephews were to suddenly show an interest in model railways..

Go on take the plunge and change. I did in the opposite direction from OO to O. I had lots of locos and rolling stock. Unfortunately my O stuff is growing.
