This may make you laugh - not a lot
We decided to have our gutters, soffits and facia's replaced. The surveyor found asbestos in the soffits (common in pre-1980's housing) - therefore the gutter people would not touch it unless it was removed - simple job? Think again

We now have scaffolding, first floor poly tunnels etc. The third picture shows the decontamination van - we are not going into the kebab business

You go in one end dirty, and come out the other end clean. Hopefully, this part of the work will be finished on Friday, and the new soffits etc., will be fitted on Monday - will take a couple of days.
Just to conclude this happy story, the hot water tank in the airing cupboard sprang a leak last week, and the new tank cannot be fitted until next Monday - so no hot water except for the kettle - needless to say I am not a happy chappy at the moment.
