Number 5 GWR toolbox Smoke Box Number Plate
I thought i would show you all the results from 04:30 hrs drive to Cardiff the other day. I have been told it`s a number 5 toolbox fom a Pannier Tank, but all the photos online that i have found are of a very different type. I am now thinking it was fitted inside the cab, but cannot find a photo of one in situ. Can anyone help me out on this please!![Image]()

The exterior tool boxes have a curved lid. I reckon they would have needed one inside the cab for running repairs.
