The springs will not be the issue; the chassis halves are live to the wheels and the motor must be isolated from the chassis. Something must be making a contact between the chassis sides and motor.

thanks for the quick reply mike i will strip down the loco and try to find the problem and try to isolate the motor and cure this problem and hopefully cure the problem best regards bob

hi mike i have stripped the loco down and checked all the contacts and the wiring and still no luck and think i have blown the decoder im out of ideas to what the problem is and may have send it to someone who can do it for me regards bob
