Haven't had much time for the last few weeks but I've now got one side of the 'U' all wired up and working after the Nice Man at the Model Shop (NMMS) relieved me of £139 for a Gaugemaster twin track, twin feed, keep the receipt this time so you can bring it back when you break it controller.
NMMS clearly does not think this is going to end well, despite the amount of track, kits, magazines and other sundries he's sold me.
Being a more optimistic kind of chap I'm now looking at the other side, which is going to have a bigger town type of station which will either be another terminus, or *loose lips sink layouts* through station if the builders can
accidentally knock a hole through the wall into another room when they do some work on the house and my Long Term Life Partner does not get wind beforehand.
Either way it's going to be twin track, not sure I'll stick with the buildings, but the main station building will sit back in the alcove on the shelf to the right once things progress a bit, with some low-relief stuff to the rear of it.
