Progress has been slow so far this week. I’ve been hampered by a slight cough/sore throat plus feeling a bit off colour after my second jab. Had a Covid19 test just in case which has just come back negative so it’s back to work tonight.
The lack of energy has meant I could only manage the odd half hour here and there.
It also contributed to a couple ‘fubars’ when it came to labelling the wires in the control panel. I have updated the track plan and fitted the LEDs on the mimic board along with motorising the extra points leading to the coal drops.

That means there are a few more wires in the control panel

. I’ve added a voltage regulator for the LED feed which will allow me to reduce the brightness if needed. Still to sort out the power supply to the module and I still have to wire up the third D-sub that will connect the LEDs to the point switches.

At the moment the Seep point motors are switching the frog polarity but I will be fitting frog juicers (eventually) and at that time the Seep switches will be used for the LEDs. The intention is that the wiring for all this will be in place and just require connecting up to make that change.
