point problem

hi guys i getting on well with the rewire on my layout upgrading the bus and droppers but i am having a problem with two points they will throw only one way i have tried a new switch and the result is the same they are peco side mounted motors when i try them on any other point wires the motors work normally any help with this problem will be most welcome as its got me stumped regards bob

Check your wiring Bob, Peco use Red and Black for left and right and Green for the return unlike Hornby. See diagram here. https://www.brian-lambert.co.uk/Electrical_Page_2.html scroll down to Peco point motor.

hi brian i have replaced the wiring on these problem points and they now work well good job it happened while i am rewiring for dcc cos of the position of the points it would have been a bit of a job to do thanks for your help with this problem best regards bob
