Can somebody tell me who makes the best Etched Brass name and number plates in 4mm scale. I want to rename and number 2 king locos.

Sandy, have a look at Fox Transfers and Modelmaster Jackson. Both are very good.
Have a look at RailTec as well - mainly diesel but there may be something to suit. They are also producing 3D printed nameplate transfers for some models.

My only issue with them is the lack of pictures on the website. Fine if you know exactly what you want but a pain when trying to decide if their description matches the picture in your own head.

Repairing a Skalesdale Engine Shed

Have just bought a very nice sales dale double Engine shed but there is bit of damage to the top of a couple of chimneys. A bit of filling is needed.
Can any one recomend a filler for the job. Something which can be sanded and shaped after it has dried but sticks well to the stuff Skales dale buildings are made of.
