Very good review thanks for sharing. It really does look like a must have.
And the Lord said unto John “Come forth and receive eternal life”, but John came fifth and won a toaster!

The app as mentioned in Appendix A to the review has been perfected by Ray to run as a standalone product outwith Hornby’s Railmaster and works 100% accurately with either Elite or eLInk controllers.

Not only does the app write messages to the screen but it will also let you set up the various screen operational modes to associate screen messages with a loco or points, etc as well as change programming and clock addresses, reset the screen back to factory settings and amend the scrolling message cycle time.

With a change to the screen firmware by Train-Tech it could be made to program even easier and much faster than it does now. The app could well be made available on the Train-Tech website as a screen aid subject to ongoing talks.

I shall in time update the videos in the review to improve the quality and show the updated app features.
