Point lever/motor common return to CDU

Would just like to double check my thinking with friends on the forum.

I am using Peco PL26 passing contact levers and either PL10 or PL11 point motors. The points ar all Peco Code 75 live frogs and I use Gaugemaster double solenoid frog juicers.

From both lever and motor there is a common return to the CDU the other two wires running between motor and lever.

Now I am building my marshalling yard I will have three sets of points in close proximity. I can't see any reason why these three point motors and their levers cannot have their common returns connected together via a terminal block and then one wire wire direct to the CDU from the levers and one from the motors as the movement of the lever draws the power to the motor to change the points.

Am I missing anything please?

There is no reason why a common return to all motors cant be used. It saves wire!
All the motors return wire connect onto this one common return wire, whether those connections are soldered or by terminal blocks or Wago connectors. This common return wire then goes directly to the CDU Negative Output terminal.
One wire from the CDU output Positive terminal goes to all the levers or switches middle tabs, linking from one to the next daisy chain fashion. Ending on the last lever or switch.
Then each lever or switch has two wires that feed out to the point motor it is to operate.

Use 16/0.2mm wire as a minimum throughout.
